We are a full-service custom dock builder and marine contractor that does everything from consulting, design, engineering, manufacturing, retail/wholesale, and service. We construct and install “turn-key” marinas. We also carry a wide variety of products including, dock accessories, boat accessories, dock kits, dock hardware, water toys (trampolines and towables), and tram systems. We:
New Construction: Office and Manufacturing
Installed Energy Efficient T5 Lighting systems known to reduce energy costs as much as 35%.
Installed a High Efficiency Wood Furnace for heating, reducing our use of fossil fuels. Use salvaged wood from demolition projects and beach clean-up.
We are often involved in demolition of dilapidated wooden piers, docks, pilings, and other natural wood structures.
We routinely inspect and sort these materials for reclaim and recycling. For example, many large natural timbers from a recently demolished 80 year old wood dock were sent to local lumber mills for reclaim and reuse.
Unsalvageable natural wood materials are collected and used in a high efficiency wood burning stove to heat our new office and aluminum manufacturing facility.
Salvaged materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) are collected and recycled appropriately.
Our HDB cedar log dock is an environmentally friendly and beautiful dock. It is constructed with standing dead timbers/logs, sustainable and recycled materials. (Please see our video.)
Steel – Our purchased steel comes from 97.5% recycled scrap. From the scrap used, 70% is post-consumer recycled and 30% is post-industrial.
Aluminum – Our purchased aluminum is 25% recycled post-industrial and 100% recyclable.
Floats – The encapsulated polyethylene shell of our purchased floats are environmentally stable and recyclable.
Decking – Our purchased decking is made with 30% post-consumer recycled content, and 60% pre-consumer recycled content. No new trees are cut down to make our purchased decking.
